ERP: Elysium

I was bored. I love video games. And my books weren’t selling because I’d done zero marketing. So I decided to kill 42 birds with one stone — build an idle clicker RPG set in the Towers of Elysium universe. Play through the story, fight chapter bosses, generate Elysium Essence.

The bigger vision: other authors can use this as a creative marketing tool. Load your own book, build your world and animations, and give readers a new way to experience your story.

▶ Are You an Author? Build Your Own.

I built ERP because my books weren’t selling — and I’d done zero marketing. Instead of running ads, I built a game. Readers don’t just read the story — they play it. It’s the most creative marketing tool I could think of, and it actually works.

The engine is designed to be adaptable. You can load and parse your own book, define your world’s characters and enemies, set up chapter-based progression, and let readers experience your story as an interactive idle RPG. All built on open web tech — no game dev experience required.

If you’re an author looking for a creative way to reach readers, this might be for you.
