For This Oats Apple Crisp Recipe You’ll Have to have:
10 cups sliced Granny Smith apples, 1 cup white sugar, 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/4 cup water (you could leave out the water entirely if you want your apple crisp to be drier), 1 cup quick-cooking oats, 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 cup packed brown sugar, 1/4 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 cup butter, melted
Alright, now what? First you want to turn on your oven and preheat it to 350 degrees F (175 degree C).
Then cut the apples (if you haven’t done that by now) and place them in a baking pan. Take the sugar, 1 tablespoon flour and ground cinnamon and mix them together then sprinkle the mix over the apples. If you will be adding water now would be the time to pour it over the apples.
Excellent. Now go ahead and take oats, 1 cup flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and melted butter and mix and combine all these ingredients together. When done, equally spread the mixture over the apples.
This is more or less it. All you need to do now is put the pan into the oven and bake your apple crisp at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for around 45 minutes.
